Meet the Editor
Louis Vitiello Jr. (Louie V.)
Founder & Editor, Vinyl Latte
For me, Vinyl Latte began with something simple: a love of music and a desire to share it with people who felt the same way.
I've always been passionate about music, vinyl records, and high-fidelity audio. But without many friends who shared those interests, I wanted to create a space where conversations about great recordings, audio equipment, and the listening experience could happen naturally.
On March 5, 2024, I launched Vinyl Latte on YouTube.
What started as a personal outlet quickly became a growing community of music enthusiasts, vinyl collectors, and audiophiles. Today, that community includes more than 19,000 YouTube subscribers.
As Vinyl Latte grew, I realized my interests extended well beyond what I could explore through video alone.
I wanted to cover the stories behind the music, developments within the recording industry, the art of vinyl mastering, and the technology that shapes how we experience sound.
That led me to establish the Vinyl Latte publication, where we now publish original articles every weekday, alongside artist interviews, record reviews, industry news, and high-fidelity audio coverage.
My approach combines firsthand listening, careful research, technical curiosity, and conversations with musicians and industry professionals.
I believe great audio isn't necessarily about owning the most expensive equipment. It's about understanding what we hear, discovering what moves us, and enjoying the music.
Vinyl Latte has grown beyond the original YouTube channel, but the reason I started it hasn't changed.
It's still about sharing a passion for music and bringing people together through the experience of listening.
Pull up a chair. Put on a record. Stay for the conversation.
